Mediator and Consultant In Personal Growth and
Organization Effectiveness
John’s career includes mediating disputes in business,
community, government; consultant, practitioner and educator in human
resources and organization effectiveness working with profit and non-profit
enterprises in United States and Eastern Europe.
Consultant
His primary interests are: Dispute resolution, Coaching for personal
growth, Facilitating team development, Building organization
partnerships and teaching T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Chi Kung.
He has worked with a wide range of organizations such as Corning Precision
Lens, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Cincinnati Gas & Electric, New England
Culinary Institute, Y.W.C.A., Committee For Kids, and IESC assignments in
Lithuania and Poland. He served on the Milwaukee Archdiocese’s Human Resource
Advisory Council. He is a student assessor at Alverno College’s Assessment
Center.
Practitioner
John served in the top human resources positions for three major department
stores: Sibley’s, now Kauffman’s, May Department Stores, Rochester, NY, Stix
Baer & Fuller, now Dillard’s, St. Louis, MO, Shillito’s, now Lazarus,
Federated Department Stores, Cincinnati, OH. Prior to this, he was Corporate
Manager, Organization Development for Federated Department Stores,
Cincinnati, OH.
Educator
He teaches T’ai Chi and Chi Kung for stress reduction and overall health and
well-being in the Covenant Health Care Wellness Centers. He teaches
Improvisational Theater skills for improving “on stage” face-to-face personal
performance. He was Director Management Programs upper and middle level
managers for the Industrial Relations Center, The University of
Chicago, Chicago, IL. He taught Coaching course in the program.
Mediator
He mediated disputes in a variety of business relationships: between
levels, peers, functional groups, firm and supplier. He currently
mediates disputes in Wisconsin’s US Postal Service REDRESS program, contract
mediator for DSZ, Boston, MA, Mediation Center of Waukesha County Small
Claims Court and Northwest Milwaukee Mediation Center. He is an Advanced
Practitioner Member, of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
John was contract mediator for Beech Acres Mediation Center, Cincinnati, OH
involving: mediating disputes of pre/post divorced parents with children and
training co-mediators. He coached participants in Beech Acres mediation
training workshops.
